The design looks good…. but you need to take the bar with your tagline and logo and align it flush with the left side of the background image… as I cannot see it… as it is behind all Twitters info. Same thing with “Don’t Forget to Follow Us”… it is right in the middle and there is no way to see it unless you click view background image.

Look at the examples below and see how they have their main info more flush with the left side. Modify that and yours will look great!

I suspected that would happen Doug, I think you are on a lower resolution… I think 1024 x 768..? if not what is the resolution.?

“Don’t Forget to Follow Us” has been put right in the middle on purpose.. ;)

Yeah, nice idea! Every so often, someone views your tweet all by itself. A message underneath it would be a great surprise.

yep… 1024×768. It just makes sense to make it flush with left side so you don’t have to worry about anyone’s resolution settings… I think.

What is your reasoning for the Don’t Forget to Follow us” placement? Just curious.

Well If I make it flush with left side then I think it will come over the twitter content..

There is no particular reasoning “Don’t Forget to Follow us”, just if you are on a single tweet…you can see it.. ;)

??? Isn’t the Twitter content center aligned? Have you seen other twitter backgrounds that have info on them not left align that info. I have just looked about 20 different ones and they all do.

Yep it’s a problem if the visitors resolution is not high enough, but I don’t think it’s such a big problem nowadays.

Your background looks very good, maybe I should start looking into a background for my personal twitter account (I don’t have a twitter account specifically for my blog).

PS: How do you add the “This blog is Do-Follow. Do not spam | Do not advertise”-text above the comment area? Thanks :)

Well the problem was fixed yesterday itself as soon as Doug pointed it out. :)

I am using Openhook plugin for thesis on my blog. So you might want to install that. Once you have done that go to Thesis OpenHook under appearance on your dashboard. On the right, you will see a floating drop down box select “thesis_hook_comment_field” or simple search for “thesis_hook_comment_field” , add your text in the box and save it

I really like how you did yours vertical instead of line by line horizontal, making me consider changing mine.

I think the background looks great. I should pick up Photo-shop. I’m currently messing around with Gimp to create headers for my blogs and such, but it’s not an easy program to use at all. Nice job and good luck with the Do-Follow option. It’s a smart way to go on a blog.
