How to Jailbreak iPhone 3G 3GS OS 3.1.2 on Windows

Pwnage Tool 3.1.4 was released by Dev Team few hours back. Pwnage Tool is for Mac only so Windows user cannot use the Pwnage Tool to Jailbreak their device.

So the easy solution for Windows users is to download the Custom firmware cooked using the Pwnage Tool 3.1.4.

How to Jailbreak iPhone 2G 3G 3GS OS 3.1.2 on Windows using Custom Firmware:

  1. Download Custom Firmware files, you can search them on Google or any torrent sites.
  2. Put iPhone in recovery mode, If you do not know how thenSwitch off your iPhone Hold down the home button, then while holding down the home button connect to a computer. Keep holding down the home button until you see a connect-to-iTunes screen You are now in recovery mode.
  3. Download and Install Latest iTunes (iTunes 9) if you dont have.
  4. Launch iTunes. Now click on ‘Restore’ while holding SHIFT key, browse the downloaded custom firmware file
