How to Recover Gmail Password

All of us forget password one time or another. I remember once I forgot my own password and was not able to recover because the recovery procedure was much more difficult, and that left me cursing Google for 1 week.

But now if you have forgot your password, recovering it is very much easy. Gmail lets you recover your account password through Text Message. Yes, now they will SMS you your password incase you forgot it.

In order to Enable this service follow the steps below:

  • Login in your Google Account.
  • Under Personal Settings, click on Change password recovery options. It will ask you to verify the account, by entering your password. Do it.
  • Gmail Passwod Recovery

  • On the next page, you will have three options to recover your password. Under SMS add your mobile number and click on Save, and you are done!
  • Gmail Password sms

  • Next time when you forgot your password, just visit the Password Assistance of Google and type in your Username and Google will sms you a recovery code. Simple as that ;)
