If you have updated your iPhone Firmware to OS3.1, then you might have noticed that your cracked apps have stopped working. To fix this problem you might need to Patch MobileInstallation File. AppSync for OS 3.1 will do this for you, AppSync has just been updated for the new firmwares.
There are two versions of AppSync on the repos, AppSync for 3.0 and AppSync for 3.1. AppSync for OS 3.0 applies to iPhones and iPods with Firmware 3.0 or 3.0.1. It has version 1.1 because 1.0 is updated. AppSync for OS 3.1 applies to iPhones and iPods with Firmware 3.1. The version is 1.0, because it has just been newly released for the 3.1 Firmware. Also note that miPatch has been discontinued from the repos.
- Jailbreak your iPhone 3.1 with PwnageTool 3.1, if you have jailbreaked then skip this step.
- Launch Cydia on your iPhone. Select “Manage” tab at the bottom and then click on “Sources”
- Select “Edit” and add “http://cydia.hackulo.us” and touch on “Add Source”.
- Now search for “AppSync for OS 3.1” in Cydia and Install it.
Your MobileInstallation File file will be patched and you should be able to install the cracked apps on iPhone OS 3.1 firmware.
